Kesha Doesn't Have Time For Your Body-Shaming Nonsense

There's nothing more satisfying than seeing a person be proud and confident in who they are. We cannot get enough of it. This time our focus is on Kesha.

Early this week Kesha posted a picture of herself in a bikini while relaxin in Palm Springs to her Instagram account. 

But the part that we love so much is the caption, which contains possibly the most perfect and succinct preemptive attack on would-be body shamers we've ever seen:

"not a slave to perfection right now. fuck it. ***body shamers please fuck off ain't nobody got time for it."

While it's beautiful to see anyone feel so confident in themselves at any point, we can't deny it's especially fabulous to see someone like Kesha -- someone whose body, actions, and behaviors have been policed over the years (and especially recently) more than they ever should have -- feel free and proud of who she is.

Yes, it sucks that she has to say something because people should inherently know not to be terrible to other people -- but we have to love a person posting a shameless (and super cute) photo of themselves, acknowledging that there are people out there who may want to say negative things about it, and boldly stop them in their tracks.

Kesha doesn't have time for your body-shaming. Not today, or any other day. And we love it.
