Ted Cruz. You might have heard of him. He's a presidential candidate or something?! He won the Iowa Caucus, beating out the one and only, Donald Trump.
Yesterday, a new American hero was born, and we all witnessed it, thanks to Twitter. At a Ted event, a young queer hero approached him, and said, "I am gay." Flash forward to .02 seconds later, she took a selfie with Mr. Cruz, where he looks frozen in his awkward and uncomfortable face (a natural look that he sports regularly).
Ted hasn't been exactly friendly to LGBT people. What would you have told Ted given the opportunity?
