After months of treatment and surviving in a medically induced coma, the world laid rest to Whitney Houston’s beloved daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, on July 26. The 22-year-old was found unresponsive in January and had been surviving in a medically induced coma for months before being moved to hospice care. With the wounds from her iconic mother’s death, fans have taken to social media to bid her farewell. Houston’s voice has left an indelible mark on the world, so here are five songs by Brown’s late mother to commemorate her and her daughter’s lives.

1. "My Love is Your Love"

Interestingly, Houston included Bobbi Kristina ad-libs in the background of this track. It became a worldwide hit when it was released in 1999 and became a signature song for the electrifying chanteuse.

2. "Greatest Love of All"

Featured on Houston’s debut self-titled album, “Greatest Love of All” became one of her first major hits on the charts. It’s message of self-confidence, faith and more continues to swell our hearts with all of the feels!

3. "I Will Always Love You"

This song no doubt holds a place on the list of the top five most important songs in the history of the world. This track, from Houston’s debut film performance in The Bodyguard, was a cover of a song originally by Dolly Parton. With Houston’s touch it shattered music records by being the first single to top Billboard for 14 weeks and reaching No. 1 in the majority of countries it was released.

4. "One Moment In Time"

Houston recorded this song for the 1988 Summer Olympics and it reached the top five on the U.S. Billboard Charts and became her third No. 1 on the UK Charts soon after its release. This track has been a favorite for singing competition contestants for years!

5. "When You Believe"

When musical juggernauts Houston and Mariah Carey teamed up for this single on The Prince of Egypt soundtrack, they forever found a place in every 90’s baby’s heart. It was a moderate hit, but no one will ever be able to top how angelically-intertwined their voices are.

6. "I Look to You"

The title song from Houston’s last album before her death. After a life of many highs and lows, it was the ultimate ode to the late singer’s decorated, but tumultuous life.
