Charlize Theron: Gay Marriage's Golden Girl

Monster actress and Courage Campaigner Charlize Theron was on The Viewand she took the time to once again highlight her commitment to gay and lesbian advocacy and state the "institution of marriage feels very one-sided," and that she "want[s] to live in a country where we all have equal rights."

Beautiful, talented, and egalitarian; there's a lot to love about Charlize Theron. The Monster actress and Courage campaigner was on The View to talk about her next film, The Burning Plain. When the topical chat show turned to discussing her personal life, Barbara Walters brought up the fact that Theron has previously stated she has no plans to wed her boyfriend of over eight years, Stuart Townsend.

Theron siezed the opportunity to once again highlight her commitment to gay and lesbian advocacy and state that currently, the "institution of marriage feels very one-sided," and she "want[s] to live in a country where we all have equal rights."
