When the topical chat show turned to discussing her personal life, Barbara Walters brought up the fact that Theron has previously stated she has no plans to wed her boyfriend of over eight years, Stuart Townsend.
Theron siezed the opportunity to once again highlight her commitment to gay and lesbian advocacy and state that currently, the "institution of marriage feels very one-sided," and she "want[s] to live in a country where we all have equal rights."
The Burning Plain is in theaters now and costars another blonde stunner, Kim Basinger.
