Last night on Real Time with Bill Maher, Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos unraveled into petty insults and eyerolls after Black-ish creator and Nightly Show host Larry Wilmore attempted to talk some sense to Steve Bannon's very own Tomi Lahren.
After being asked why he essentially outed, bullied and potentially threatened the safety of a transgender student at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, which ran on Breitbart under the headline "MILO Liberates UWM Women’s Locker Rooms From Trans Student," Wilmore began rationally speaking to Milo about historical rhetoric used against other members of the queer community.
"I just think it’s sad," Wilmore said, "because the same arguments that were used against gay people, treating them like aliens who wanted to fuck anything that moved and that’s why we should avoid them at all costs, are being used [against the trans community]."
Fast forward a couple minutes and Yiannopolous has painted transgender people as "disproportionately" numbered sex offenders, which is false, interrupted Wilmore to the tune of a pointed wait-your-turn and applause from the audience, and this final crown jewel on the performance:
"You always invite such awful people on your show," he told Maher. "They’re so stupid!"
Cue Wilmore.
"First of all, hold on, Bill: You can go f*ck yourself," he told Milo. "If your argument is that these people are stupid, you didn’t hear a word this man [Malcom Nance, retired United States Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer in naval cryptology and author] said earlier in the segment, because he can talk circles around your pathetic, douchey little ass from England, alright?"
