We were at a charity event in London when we heard that there was nationwide equality in the United States. This means so much for America and for us as a bi-national couple. If it wasn't for same-sex marriage in New York state, it would have made our journey to move to America a lot more difficult. There's probably so many couples out there, who are in relationships with people in states that didn't have marriage and it's awesome that they can now take that journey together.
