In case you’ve somehow missed all of the rainbow paraphernalia, it’s Pride month! Los Angeles Pride blows into West Hollywood this weekend, and in preparation for the Bacchanalian weekend that features a Pride festival hosted by Christopher Street West, and a killer parade on Sunday, Equinox gym kicked off the occasion with an exclusive fitness session earlier this week.
The class, hosted by stylist Johnny Wujek, combined a ropes and yoga practice to offer a unique fitness experience. If the men and women wielding ropes and standing in perfect crescent poses weren’t enough of a draw, the event also featured musical performances from Jason Yang, a violinist who’s toured with Madonna, and DJ Whitney Fierce. Â
Keeping fit and grounded is important year-round, but it’s especially important to be in a healthy mindset when Pride starts to get wild, so Equinox had just the right idea. Check out the hot pics from the event on the following pages, and remember to breathe and hydrate during this Pride season!Â
