Rihanna's New Song Is the Summer Ballad the World Needs Right Now

2016 has been an awesome (and busy) year for Rihanna so far. As if a double platinum album, a worldwide tour, and a smash #1 single weren't enough (and that's not even mentioning all of her awesome fashion design collaborations with the likes of Dior, Puma, and Manolo Blahnik), the queen of the entire pop culture world just released a completely brand new song entitled "Sledgehammer," which is going to be featured on the soundtrack for the highly-anticipated Star Trek Beyond movie.

As expected, "Sledgehammer" is completely awesome. The Sia-written track is not your usual dancy, summer song, but instead favors a more laid-back ballad-like vibe that shows off RiRi's incredible vocals. And we're here for it.
