All Stars season is officially in full swing, and with it comes some seriously juicy fan theories that are making us all stumble to pull out our silk hand fans. But have no fear! You might not have to wait 'til later on in the season to find out what some of the possible twists, turns, or cliffhangers will be.
We're breaking down some of the Drag Race All Stars 3 conspiracy theories we've seen floating around the interwebs!
Bebe is a mole
Under his eye, kitty girl! The third season of All Stars kicked off only just a few short weeks ago, and it started off with the red-cloaked, white-capped previous winners Chad Michaels and Alaska parodying Hulu's award winning series The Handmaid's Tale. It looks like our resident drag handmaidens seem to be plotting something!
This is where the theory gets real interesting. According to one Drag Race fan on Facebook, Bebe Zahara Benet (Ru's surprise 10th queen and winner of Drag Race season 1) is widely believed to be an undercover mole acting as RuPaul's earpiece in the workroom. Not only would this be in-keeping with the infamous The Handmaid's Tale theme, but it would also make for an epic finale twist—one that will help influence the outcome of the season and who will wear the crown.
Thorgy's elimination was a setup
On last week's episode, season 8 fave Thorgy Thor sashayed away after a rather underwhelming performance as musical diva Stevie Nicks. Thorgy is known to be a creative/zany queen, with many talents in her arsenal, and her sudden elimination seems to have sparked quite the outcry from her fans and raised some painted eyebrows.
While talking to fellow competitor Shangela, Thorgy was quoted as saying "Your song is written as comedic genius. It’s you walking around being funny. Then it’s me, and then that goes into BenDeLaCreme, as Julie Andrews." She was also quoted numerous times stating that she was set up to fail in the main stage challenge, and to be honest, it feels like she's not entirely wrong.
With a mix of mediocre lyrics, and minimal choreography, as well as being placed between two comedy acts, Thorgy seems to have been setup for failure. Could this also tie into Mama Ru's master Handmaid's plan? Could this be a power play by the higher ups to rig the winners system? If so, for what outcome?
Funko Pop! presents Mama Ru, Alaska, and...Trixie Mattel?
Prior to the premiere of All Stars 3, Funko released a special set of Pop! figures of our favorite RuPaul's Drag Race queens. Specifically Mama Ru, Alaska, and Trixie Mattel.
Now, one could assume that this is just a marketing move to make bank off of a currently competing queen (Trixie). But many have speculated that the brand's move to include Trixie in the line is a spoiler for who wins All Stars 3.
So do any of these rumors and conspiracy theories have merit?? We'll just have to keep watching to find out! Tune into RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 3 Thursday nights at 8pm on VH1!
