For many gay/bi men, PrEP (Pre-exposure Prophylaxis) has led to complacency when it comes to condom use, but as we know, Truvada only protects against HIV, and not other STIs like gonorrhea, syphilis, and chlamydia. As someone who’s had both gonorrhea and chlamydia, I can tell you it’s definitely not fun. It’s also (both figuratively and literally) a pain in the ass to contact your past partners to let them know that they should get tested.
