Shot of the Day: Meryl Streep & Julia Roberts' Adorable Handholding at SAGs

One of our favorite moments at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last weekend was when titans in their own right Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts presented an award together, and they came out holding hands. The Oscar winners sparred as mother in daughter in August: Osage County and prior to the film’s release the tabloids latched on to rumors that the pair sparred offscreen as well, but they’ve been nothing but an adorable dual force to be reckoned with throughout this awards season, and we love it! 

We’re not sure what it means that Meryl’s hand is on top, but I’m sure theses could be written about placement in handholding. Here they are! Julia looks like the cat that ate the canary in that first photo.
