Yesterday was #NationalSisterDay, and although most of us with sisters can agree that they do get on our nerves a lot of the time, we can all also  agree that's it's cool having a best friend for life. To help celebrate a day dedicated to our sisses, here are some of our fave celebrity sisters who love their LGBT siblings through thick and thin.

1. Ariana Grande

It's no secret Ariana loves her openly gay brother Frankie to death! She's literally the poster child for how straight people should love and accpet their gay siblings no matter what. 

2. Anne Hathaway 

Our fave star from hit films like The Dark Knight Rises, The Princess Diaries, and The Devil Wears Prada denounced her Catholic faith because it was not supportive of her openly gay brother, Michael. That's true sibling love, right there!

3. Pam Mettler

Caitlyn Jenner's sister has been super supportive of her ever since they were children, and as the first episode of I Am Cait proved, she'll continue to be supportive of Caitlyn no matter what. She was even there when Kanye and Kim Kardashian met Caitlyn for the first time!

4. Lena Dunham

Girls star and feminist extraordinnaire Lena has been a huge LGBT ally, and that's due in part to her little sister Grace's coming out.

5. Tegan & Sara

Indie music would never be the same if it wasn't for the talent of badass lesbian rockers, Tegan and Sara. The "Walking With a Ghost" singers are twin sisters who love each other so much, they just so happen to work together on some amazing music!

6. Cyndi Lauper

One of the reasons Cyndi is seen as such a huge gay icon (besides her legendary pop music career) is because of her support for her lesbian sister Ellen.

7. Jill Soloway

The creator of the ground-breaking Amazon show Transparent has always been a supporter of the LGBT community, especially since her sister Faith (who also writes for the show) is openly lesbian.

8. Catherine Zeta-Jones

Not much is known publically about the Hollywood's star's openly gay brother David, but she looks to be a good sis regardless. Apparently they've even worked together, since he works in the movie biz.

9. Patricia Arquette 

The Oscar-winning Boyhood actress has a trans sister named Alexis, and from an early age, Patricia has always aware that her sister was special and different, in a good way.

10. Chloe Grace Moretz

Teen queen Chloe Grace has two gay brothers, Trevor and Colin, and she is not afraid to defend them! "I have two gay brothers and two straight brothers, and my gay brothers were treated horrifically until they grew up and understood how to deal with it. I will delete you and I will block you, and you will not be a part of my life if you ever say anything bad about my brothers," she said in an interview with Seventeen magazine back in 2013.
