The first promo is out for American Horror Story: Asylum, and it looks like the show is going to be amazingly creepy as hell! The first promo is out for American Horror Story: Asylum, and it looks like the show is going to be  creepy as hell and kind of amazing all at once! The series stars Jessica Lange as a sadistic nun who runs Briarcliff, an asylum in Massachusetts, and costars out actress Sarah Paulson as a lesbian journalist whose girlfriend (Clea Duvall) had her committed, Chloe Sevigny as Shelley the nymphomaniac, Lily Rabe, Zachary Quinto, Adam Levine and James Cromwell.

The teaser, set to an eerie version of “Que Sera Sera,” features Paulson’s character with – presumably – the woman who had her committed and of course Lange, Sevigny and the others.

American Horror Story: Asylum premieres Oct. 17, on FX.
