Grey’s Anatomy is back with a vengeance following the plane crash that killed Lexie at the end of last season, Mark in the 9th season premiere and left Arizona an amputee. Since finding out in the final four minutes of the season opener that Arizona had lost her leg the question has been, and remains, what’s next for Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw)?

Now, Sara Ramirez talks to TV Guide about the long road behind and ahead for TV’s most beloved lady doctor couple.

Of tonight’s episode, which picks up in the immediate aftermath of the crash, Ramirez warns, “Keep your Kleenex boxes nearby,” calling Calzona’s journey “heart wrenching.”

Ramirez adds that Callie responds to the situation very much in the moment. “I don’t know what’s going to happen. I’m really worried for them,” Ramirez says.

Here’s Ramirez in her own words.
