Gay Girl Faves Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Gaga and Beyonce Land Grammy Noms

Gay girl faves will be battling it out for Grammy's since the nominations were announced Wednesday. Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, Pink and Katy Perry are among the ladies lined up to make lesbians swoon come Grammy time. Plus, sweetie country girl Taylor Swift got some love with several nominations.

If Beyonce wanted to put a ring on for every Grammy nomination she received Wednesday night, she’d have a ring on every finger.

The diva who inspired anyone and everyone with a video camera and YouTube account led the pack with 10 nominations, some of which were announced during a special concert Wednesday on CBS featuring performances by The Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell and Sugarland.

In addition to a nomination for song of the year for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” Beyonce also scored mentions for album of the year for “I Am … Sasha Fierce,” record of the year for “Halo,” best female pop focal performance (also for “Halo”), female R&B vocal performance, R&B song as well as best song written for a motion picture, TV or other visual media for “Once in a Lifetime” from the film Cadillac Records.

American Music Awards darling Taylor Swift was right behind Beyonce and collected eight nominations. Swift’s Fearless will compete with Beyonce in the album of the year race, where the two talented ladies will face off against The Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D., Lady Gaga’s The Fame and Dave Matthews Bands’ Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King.

Lady Gaga scored five nominations, including record and song of the year for her parody-inspiring “Poker Face.” She’ll compete for record of the year with Beyonce’s “Halo,” The Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling,” Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody” and Swift’s “You Belong With Me.”

In the lesbian icon category known as best female pop vocal performance, Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” will vie for the Grammy against Beyonce’s “Halo,” Adele’s “Hometown Glory,” Pink’s “Sober” and Swift’s “You Belong With Me."

Pink’s Funhouse will bid for the best pop vocal album alongside The Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D., Colbie Caillat’s Breakthrough, Kelly Clarkson’s All I Ever Wanted and The Fray’s self-titled release.

Mentor and mentee go head-to-head in the best dance recording category as Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” is joined by Madonna’s “Celebration,” Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face,” The Black Eyed Peas’ “Boom Boom Pow” and David Guetta & Kelly Rowland’s “When Love Takes Over.”

The Grammys will be awarded Jan. 31 and broadcast on CBS from Staples Center in Los Angeles.
