South of Nowhere lesbian fans rejoice! The sexy and lovable Mandy Musgrave will be playing a lesbian on 90210.

Musgrave announced that she will be joining the cast in a Tweet over the weekend, "It's true I booked a guest spot on 90210 ANOTHER wonderful Lezzy!!!! Yaa!" she wrote.

The actress will be guest starring as the ex-girlfriend of Gia, played by Rumer Willis. Musgrave's character, Alex, shows up looking to pick up where they left off.  And we really hope they do!

AfterEllen checked in with the actress who dished her thoughts on the steamy new role.

Musgrave told AfterEllen:

I am a little nervous, it's always strange going on another set that isn't "yours" - you can feel really out of place. But they have the same hairdresser who worked on South of Nowhere, so I'm happy to work with him again.

And I'm so excited that I can play a lesbian again! I had so much fun on South of Nowhere stepping out of myself for such a role. Whenever you have to do that, it makes work more challenging. And if you don't have a challenge, then what are you "working" for? Plus, by playing a lesbian once again, I hope I will make the SON fans happy.

There is no word yet on when Musgrave's episode will air or if her role is recurring.

Another SON favorite, Maeve Quinlan, has also had a recurring role on 90210 as former actress Constance Tate-Duncan.

Lindsay Lohan's sometimes girlfriend and uber-popular lesbian celeb Sam Ronson will also be guest starring as a DJ on a future episode of 90210 airing on November 3.

The series is also set to feature Sara Foster, who played Amy in the teen lesbian spy movie D.E.B.S.

Kudos to the CW network for featuring so many lesbian and lesbian-loving characters!
