The CW has officially released the first look at Ruby Rose donning her Batwoman suit, and oh my freakin' god she looks so badass!!

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Batwoman (whose civilian name is Kate Kane) will be introduced to fans later this year during The CW's annual winter crossover special of its DC titles, with plans for a possible standalone series for the superheroine in the near future.

Although controversy erupted earlier this year when some homophobic, misogynist trolls caused Rose to quit Twitter shortly after the news of her casting, her landing the role of Kane marks TV history, as it is one of the rare opportunities viewers get to see an out, lesbian actor play an actual lesbian role. 

Seeing Ruby in her powerful Batwoman suit makes us excited to see what she brings to the character! We don't care what the haters say!
