Who said Scrooge couldn’t be a gay daddy?

Charles Dickens’ classic novella A Christmas Carol underwent a gay treatment in the 2012 comedy film Scrooge & Marley, which is now available digitally just in time for this year’s holiday season.

Co-directed by Richard Knight Jr. and Peter Neville, Scrooge & Marley tells the story of a grumpy gay man being visited by ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future – most of whom are also gay. The main character, Scrooge (played by David Pevsner), gives you all the “daddy” energy you might need as he goes through this queer-ified version of A Christmas Carol.

This cast also features Tim Kazurinsky (Marley), Bruce Vilanch (Fezziwig), Rusty Schwimmer (Freda), David Shae (Bob), Ronnie Kroell (Randy), Christopher Allen (Bill), and Richard Ganoung (Colin), among others.

Though it came out 10 years ago, Scrooge & Marley was previously unavailable on digital platforms. As of 2022, though, the movie is now finally available for the digital era.

If you’ve never seen Scrooge & Marley, it is now easier than ever to give it a watch. If you have seen the film in the past and would like to revisit the LGBTQ+ classic during this holiday season, it certainly makes things easier for the movie to be available digitally.
