Candiace Dillard Bassett is one of the all-star housewives joining the cast on the third season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

While a trip to Thailand may seem like a relaxing and luxurious vacation, these women definitely couldn't keep the peace during their short trip.

One of the main feuds dominating the third season centers around Bassett's frustration with Gizelle Bryant following season seven of The Real Housewives of Potomac.

As a recap, the ladies fought all season after Gizelle accused Candiace's husband, Chris, of making her feel uncomfortable in a closed room at the season six reunion.

"I definitely went into Girls Trip trying to be open-minded. We shot the Potomac finale and then two weeks later, we're in Thailand. There was no time in between. It's important to note that I had not seen any of season seven. We had not shot any of the reunion," Bassett tells PRIDE.

Now that Potomac has wrapped, Bassett finally had a chance to see everything play back in real time.

"I didn't know most of the really horrible, awful, incriminating things that Gizelle was saying about Chris. I didn't realize that she had changed the story five different times and [she] painted Chris to be a predator. It would have been a different situation if I had known everything. I still would have gone, [but] I would have probably lit her up a lot more. I did try."

With the eighth season of Potomac on the horizon, Candiace's husband is now talking to various blogs about his experience filming season seven and how it's negatively affected his life personally and professionally.

"Throughout the course of the airing of season seven, Chris probably got over a hundred interview requests from different outlets looking to speak to him. Out of respect for the show, he did not speak until the show wrapped. He did three out of the 90-100 that he was requested for and they all came out at the same time. I know for sure that he's happy that he did these interviews, because he wasn't able to speak for ten months. For him to speak his truth and defend himself, I know that he's happy about that."

Chris isn't the only husband on Potomac that's dealing with serious issues in real time. Robyn Dixon's husband, Juan Dixon, was just let go from his position at Coppin State after a lawsuit was filed against the school alleging that an assistant coach on Dixon's staff, Lucian Brownlee, sexually assaulted and blackmailed a former player by tricking him into sending nude photos of himself, according to The Baltimore Sun.

"I was completely stunned. I hadn't really talked to Robyn about it. At the reunion, she really downplayed everything that was taking place. I never saw a world where he would lose his job. I hurt for her children. We have a lot of issues and I have a lot of opinions about Robyn, okay? But, this is not something I would wish on anyone."
