Kate McKinnon is a Comedic Genius, Even When She Does Commercials

Kate McKinnon did it again. With new campaign videos for Ford called “The More Experiments,” McKinnon proved she’s quite simply, the gift that just keeps giving.

As much as you might want to scoff at the fact this these videos are advertisements, you won't be able to look away.

Say hello to anthropologist Dr. Genevieve St. Jermaine, PhD., your guide, teacher, and main character.

First, we’re introduced to The Hedge Fund Manager, a very flashy businessman, with a hell of a goatee and two cell phones for all those business calls.

Once he sits in the Ford and asks about making calls, he unintentionally calls his mother. who reveals that The Hedge Fun Manager is in fact, Genevieve St. Jermaine, doing a social experiment inside a Ford showroom.

Seriously. McKinnon is so smart. Comedy goals.

Next, the cool archaeologist clad with a serious french braid, utility thigh harness and a shit ton of “artifacts” that she needs to transport away from the impending Ancient Order of Temple Goons. Ya.

There’s also a breathy fashion model, with an insane bun, bizarrely high collared jacket, and 100 signature poses she likely learned in Paris.

She also does a glam rocker with an affinity for sparkly confetti who wears very tight red “leather” pants that squeak.

And we could all only be so lucky to watch Kate ballet dance what each car color is, in a pink tutu and tights. I mean come on.

How can you not love her?
