Twitter's New Feature Is Called a 'Fleet' (Yes, Like the Enema)

And yes, Gay Twitter™ is having a frenzy over it...

Today in "things no one asked for" news, Twitter just announced that they will be testing a new feature on the app that will basically be like Instagram or Snapchat stories, where users can upload text or media that lasts only 24 hours. What are they calling this new feature you ask?

Fleets.

Yes, you read that correctly. Fleets, like the infamous/popular enema brand that many queer people use to douche their intimate parts in preparation for anal sex...

As expected, Gay Twitter™ went absolutely crazy with commentary and jokes after they learned one of the most popular websites on the entire internet coincidentally named their newest feature after a brand of enemas.

Luckily for us, Twitter, or rather a gay intern at Twitter, acknowledged the hilarious name situation.

Oh internet, please never change.
