Boycott Dolce & Gabbana Hashtag Continues to Take Off After Hateful Same-Sex Parenting Comments
Gay designers, Dolce & Gabbana are coming under fire after an outrageous interview with Italy's Panorama Magazine where they declared, "We oppose gay adoptions. The only family is the traditional one." They even went one step further to proclaim, "I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Rented uterus, semen chosen from a catalog." Needless to say the celebrity backlash is fierce and Elton John is front and center with a boycott, complete with a hashtag, #BoycottDolceGabbana. Considering celebrities are basically the only people who can afford D&G, and are no stranger to speaking their minds, there is no lack of comedic relief in the midst of this Twitter firestorm and some of my favorite tweets are below.
\u201cThe #BoycottDolceGabbana movement is both smaller and less established than the #CantAffordDolceGabbana movement.\u201d— God (@God) 1426531072
