The creators of the Nikki & Nora: N&N Files put out the call on Indiegogo, and fans made it happen. Now, the series that stars Christina Cox (Better than Chocolate) and Liz Vassey (Necessary Roughness) as lesbian private investigators in love in The Big Easy is available on tello Films! The series premiered on Dec. 22, and a new episode will premiere every Sunday until all six episodes are up!

Nikki & Nora have a storied history that dates back to 2004—when there were very few lesbians on network TV--when a pilot for the series about lesbian private investigators navigating work and each other in New Orleans, was in serious consideration for a network slot. The pilot was not picked up, but Nikki & Nora spawned fan-girl fiction for the decade to come. Creator Nancylee Myatt (South of Nowhere, 3Way, Cowgirl Up) and tello Filmsteamed up to revive the legendary duo, and the now its available for your viewing pleasure.

The series features familiar faces including Janina Gavankar (The L Word, True Blood) and Aasha Davis (South of Nowhere, Pariah, Friday Night Lights).

Check out the teaser trailer here, and see if the stills below and the outrageous chemistry between these two don’t entice you to check out Nikki & Nora on tello!
