Christian Cimoroni is a 28-year-old queer artist and illustrator from Columbus, Ohio whose specialty is creating absolutely beautiful portraits. His talent for capturing the male form has garnered him nearly 20,000 followers on Instagram, and after scrolling through just a few of his vibrant, colorful illustrations, it's easy to understand why.
"I've been making art since I was small." Cimoroni told PRIDE about his start. "Drawing on random pieces of notebook paper, all over the back of restaurant placemats, pretty much whatever I could find. I would draw tons of pictures of mermaids, Ursula the sea witch, Catwoman, and fashionable ladies."
"I believe the way it affects people, especially in a positive manner," Cimoroni said when asked what his favorite thing about making art is. "The art I create is meant to uplift, support, or give you some sort of feeling. I think making people feel good about themselves and happy is what I really aim to do with the art I create."
