VH1’s Divas Soul airs tonight and it promises plenty of big-piped ladies, from the luminaries or soul to contemporary, delivering soul hit after soul hit, according to VH1.

The star-studded evening will be broken down into tributes to various bastions of soul music including Detroit, London, Chicago, Philadelphia medley, a Memphis tribute and a tribute to Amy Winehouse.

Look for Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, the original American Idol Kelly Clarkson and Grammy winning diva extraordinaire Mary J. Blige to perform a medley that includes The Supremes “You Keep Me Hanging On.”

Bringing some classic soul to the mix will be Mavis Staples, Martha Reeves and Wanda Jackson, along with heavy hitters like Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Estelle and Chaka Khan.

Bisexual pop star Jessie J. and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine are also on tap to perform.

If that weren’t enough, Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah are on tap to appear –although it looks like we’ll all have to weight for their movie Joyful Noise to see the pair perform together.

Also of interest is that The Good Wife’s Archie Panjabi, who plays the smoking hot investigator Kalinda, also makes an appearance at Diva’s Soul.
