'The Moth Diaries' - Boarding School / Vampire Flick Released on Streaming Today

From acclaimed director Mary Harron (I Shot Andy Warhol, American Psycho and The Notorious Bettie Page) comes The Moth Diaries, a vampire tale set in an all-girls boarding school where everyone has a secret. The film, set in a remote, creepy boarding school that smacks of a gothic novel, stars Sarah Bolger (Lady Mary on The Tudors), Lily Cole (St. Trinian’s School for Girls and the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman) and Sarah Gadon, who appears to have starred in just about every Canadian television show created in the past 10 years.

From acclaimed director Mary Harron (I Shot Andy Warhol, American Psycho and The Notorious Bettie Page) comes The Moth Diaries, a vampire tale set in an all-girls boarding school where everyone has a secret.

The movie, which gets a theatrical release on April 20, is available now on SundanceNOW, Cable VOD, Amazon Streaming, iTunes and XBox ZUNE, according to AfterEllen.

The movie turns on a triangle of sorts when the mysterious – and pale -- new girl Ernessa (Cole) begins a possessive friendship with Rebecca’s (Bolger) best friend Lucie (Gadon).

Here’s the trailer for The Moth Diaries. All girls boarding school + vampires + Bolger, Cole and Gadon = a definite guilty pleasure!
