Former Cosby Show kid Raven-Symoné has rebuffed speculation about her sexual orientation on social media in the past, but just yesterday she Tweeted “I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you.”

While it’s not exactly clear what Raven’s referring to, the obvious deduction would be that she’s proud of the Supreme Court for its recent decisions on DOMA and Prop 8.
The Huffington Post pointed out that in the spring of 2012 The National Enquirer printed a story alleging that Raven was gay and in a relationship with out America’s Next Top ModelContestant AzMarie. Media outlets ran with the story that the former Disney star of That’s so Raven was a lesbian, prompting Raven to respond on Twitter saying, "My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life.”
With the Supreme Court's rulings in June, the part of the Defense of Marriage Act that prevented federal recognition of their marriages was no more. And the Proposition 8 law that banned same-sex couples from marrying was once again overturned.
Congrats to Raven on her ability to “get married,” whatever that means for her.
