Jane Lynch Signs on to Host 'Saturday Night Live'

Second City alum and comedic actress Jane Lynch will host Saturday Night Live this October, Movieline reports.

Lynch will host the show, entering its 36th season, October 9. Season 2 of Glee, in which Lynch plays tough-as-nails cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, begins September 21. She is up for a Best Supporting Actress Emmy for her portrayal; the awards will be presented August 29.

And Lynch's Sue Sylvester has just been enshrined with a wax figure at Madame Tussaud's.
