Michelle Clunie and Thea Gill Added to the GLAAD Media Awards Roster in San Francisco

The 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards will take place at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis on June 5, 2010.  As previously reported, Clementine Ford (The L Word) and sister Ariel Shepherd-Oppenheim will present their mother, Cybill Shepard, with the Golden Gate Award.  Bruce Vilanch will serve as host with performances by Sam Sparro and newly-out singer/songwriter Chely Wright. Jai Rodriguez, Wilson Cruz, Nikki Blonsky, Jan Wahl, Lee Daniels and local hero Robert Hanson will also be in attendance.
 
New additions to the already star-studded line-up will be lesbian favorites Michelle Clunie and Thea Gill from Showtime's hit series Queer As Folk! Michelle has been busy promoting her new ABC series Make It or Break It and feature film Queens of the World.  Thea has also been hard at work with films and special appearances (recently, she attended Wolfe Video's 25th Anniversary Gala at Jetsetter in West Hollywood).
