SheWired's Shot of the Day: Freida Pinto and a Pomegranate for 'GQ'

There is moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw any of our pseudo-feminist lesbian caution to the wind and to just post our fave shot of the day. Today it’s all about when food and sex appeal collide! Slumdog Millionaire Oscar nominee Freida Pinto is all grown up and making mince meat out of a pomegranate for GQ! Typically a little on the tart side for me, Freida makes this pomegranate’s guts look like sweet nectar of the gods.

Freida hasn’t been seen on the big screen since her breakout role in Slumdog in 2008 because she was busy working on a couple of films with heavy-hitting directors. Look for her in two films this fall including the Woody Allen helmed You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger with Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins and in Julian Schnabel’ Miral with Vanessa Redgrave and Willem Dafoe.

Meanwhile, until her next movies drop, all I can say is “yum.”
