SheWired's Shot of the Day: Reese Witherspoon Writing on the Bathroom Wall for 'Glamour'

There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Today I’ve picked Reese Witherspoon, Glamour’s January cover girl, but it’s not the cover that’s my favorite shot. It’s the picture of Reese scribbling her name and number on the bathroom wall in black Sharpie. Okay, so she’s not writing her phone number, but the thought of Reese being slightly bad makes me miss the old Reese who was so deliciously bad in the best way in movies like Election and Freeway.

There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw any of our pseudo-feminist caution to the wind and to just post our fave shot of the day, whether it be sexy, salacious, or just because... Today I’ve picked Reese Witherspoon, Glamour’s January cover girl.

But it’s not the cover with Reese's earnestly sexy pout that’s my favorite shot. It’s the picture of Reese scribbling her name and number on the bathroom wall in black Sharpie. Okay, so she’s not writing her phone number, but the thought of Reese being slightly bad makes me miss the old Reese who was so deliciously bad in the best way in movies like Election and Freeway.

Don’t get me wrong, I was happy she nabbed an Oscar for her plucky and thoughtful portrayal of June Carter Cash in Walk the Line, and Legally Blonde is a modern classic. I even paid to see Sweet Home Alabama in theaters... But Reese’s résumé has gotten a little thin with the cookie cutter romantic comedies of late, and that includes the upcoming How Do You Know with Owen Wilson.

While she looks gorgeous in her Glamour shots, here’s hoping Reese gets back to some scenery chewing roles like this!
