In the middle of remote island medical drama Off The Map, rabid Grey’s Anatomy fans got what they’ve been asking for: a sneak peak at the special musical event episode premiering March 31.
As promised, the promo features the talented Sara Ramirez, known to lesbian viewers as one heavenly half of Grey’s lesbian couple ‘Calzona,’ singing Snow Patrol's iconic Grey's song "Chasing Cars." And shocker, Broadway vet and Tony award winner Ramirez sounds amazing.
But we are not sure we like where this episode looks like it's heading. We don't want to start any rumors as we have no real knowledge of just what's going down in this clip but it looks like one of the lesbians might make a tragic old-Hollywood style exit. Fingers crossed Grey's doesn't follow in ER's footsteps like when Kerry Weaver's partner Sandy was killed, but this clip is certainly giving us pause.
