Trump Thinks This Song Is the ‘Gay National Anthem’ for Some Reason

Who said that???

cornbreadsays

Donald Trump, the authority on all things gay, believes a track from the Village People is our national anthem!

The former president appeared on the Full Send podcast where he talked about his "go to banger[s]" he handpicked to play at Mar-a-Lago events. "I have a lot of them. You know a song that does get people moving?—I love Broadway stuff, Phantom of the Opera and Les Mis etc—You know what gets them rocking? ‘YMCA.'"

He then declares that "YMCA" as "the gay national anthem. Did you ever hear that? They call it the gay national anthem."

Victor Willis, member of the Village People, would beg to differ.

“There is no Gay subtext to Y.M.C.A.," he said in 2020. "Did Village People record songs with a Gay subtext? YES we did! But YMCA is not one of them. In fact, the Gay songs all appeared on the first album.”

Just another example of Trump being... well, Trump.

And everyone knows the true Gay National Anthem is "Come Clean" by Hilary Duff. Now please rise...
