1. Ellen Degeneres gave an amazing speech yesterday after receiving a Teen Choice award. She told the crowd:
"What makes you different right now, makes you stand out later in life. You should be proud of being different and being who you are."
She went on to say:
"Being unique is very, very important and fitting in is not really all that matters. It’s being unique and being who you are."
2. On top of winning a cool surfboard from teens, it so happened that it was also her 7th wedding anniversary with her wife, Portia DeRossi.
3. AND she recently announced that "Finding Dory," the sequel to "Finding Nemo" is coming out soon. Diane Keaton will play her mom, and Eugene Levy will play her dad.
So, yeah, maybe you had a good week, but Ellen got us all beat.
