Inspired by the kink and dark, deviant appeal of Roman Polanski’s Repulsion, Rachel McAdams channels some seriously steamy Catherine Deneuve for a tantalizing Elle magazine shoot.
Dressed in a pure slip lingerie and all disheveled with bed head, the usually demure McAdams looks every bit the sex bomb.
But McAdams admits she happily remains a real romantic: “I am. When Billie Holiday comes on, I can’t help but be transported—and I’m sure it wasn’t as romantic then at all—but that’s the wonderful part of my job: dressing up and walking down the street in New York or Toronto, pretending I’m in the ’40s.”
