7 Magical Must-Dos At The New Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hollywood

For all you Muggles out there, you may not have heard — but Hollywood is finally getting its own Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park, set to open spring of 2016! No more trekking to the swamplands of Florida (for those of us on the West Coast) to enjoy a Butterbeer and a jaunt on the Hogwarts Express. The Wizarding World is the most magical place you'll ever go — and here are the things you simply can't afford to miss:

1. Butterbeer

This is a no-brainer. It's the most fabulous version of (nonalcoholic) beer you'll ever taste. And the creamy white stuff on top? So. Good.

2. Ollivanders Wand Shop

How many inches? How hard? Smooth? Rough? The choice is yours at Ollivanders!

3. Casting Spells

Once you have your magic wand in hand, you can use it to interact with the park — make fountains bubble, signs spin, window diplays move. But don't expect it to make that cute boy in the crowd fall in love with you. This isn't Amortentia (the love potion, duh), after all.

4. The Three Broomsticks

It's hard to top this delicious threesome. Enjoy classic English fare in this charming Hogsmeade tavern. And don't bother counting calories.

5. Owl Post

Missing your sweetheart back home? Write them a postcard from the Owl Post and tell them about all the fun you're having. We're sure they'll appreciate you rubbing it in.

6. The Costumes

Who cares if Halloween is over. At the Wizarding World, everyday is a good day to don your favorite House colors, throw on a robe and spout nonsensical Latin spells like a big ol' nerd.

7. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

Not since Britney Spears' 2001 VMA performance has something been so thrilling. This interactive attraction is equal parts rollercoaster, interactive film and freakin' bad-ass. You won't regret this journey.
