Here's When 'Lucifer' Is Making His Season 5 Netflix Comeback

Our bi king is officially back! And the streaming service also blessed us with some of actor Tom Ellis' sexiest moments on the show!

The fifth season of cult-favorite fantasy series Lucifer is officially on the horizon!

Netflix, who took over the title from Fox a few seasons back, took to Twitter earlier today to announce that our favorite, devilsh, bi hero Lucifer Morningstar (played by the oh-so-handsome Tom Ellis) will be returning to the small screen for the first half of the fifth season on August 21!

To accompany the season 5, part 1 date reveal, they also blessed us with a video compilation of some of Lucifer's sexiest moments throughout the entire show—and we're definitely not complaining!

The news of Lucifer season 5's release date comes on the heels of renewed hope for viewers and fans that a sixth season of the show will be put into production. Earlier this month, we reported that Ellis was totally on-board to reprise the titular role of Lucifer Morningstar for a sixth round, and he and the Netflix series' showrunners are currently still in negotiations for a triumphant return. Though contract negotiations came to a halt in April of this year, CinemaBlend is reporting that issues are being resolved and a future sixth season of Lucifer is most likely going to happen!

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but hopefully more good Lucifer news is on the way soon! After all, it would be such a shame if we couldn't see more of Tom on our TV sets!!

Seasons 1-4 of Lucifer are currently streaming on Netflix!
