The Internet Is Thirsting Over Characters In Updated Clue Board Game

The only mystery to solve is how all these classic characters got so hot.

Clue is and always will be an endearing classic, whether we’re talking about the 1985 movie or the 1949 board game that started it all. And the latter recently got a fresh look that has the whole internet talking about how sexy the characters are.

The 2023 Hasbro edition of the game was released last week, and definitely took modern tastes to heart when redesigning the characters.

Miss Peacock remains as sultry as ever, while Colonel Mustard has taken on a sophisticated “daddy” energy. Professor Plum looks like the young liberal arts professor freshmen not-so-secretly thirst over, Solicitor Peacock could step on anyone’s throat and rightfully expect a “thank you” in return, Mayor Green is definitely rocking a six-pack under that suit, and you can tell just by looking at her that Chef White is the emotionally unavailable butch who will rock your world and break your heart.

They are, of course, gathered at Boddy Black’s mansion only to discover that he’s dead and the killer is among them, forcing players to determine who the murderer is, where they committed the crime, and what weapon they used in the process.

But people on social media are currently much more interested in talking about the characters themselves than getting their board game on.

Who knew 2023 would be the year Hasbro re-released one of the most popular board games of all times in an edition specifically for horny millennials? Murder mysteries are in, and the year is looking up!

What age group is Clue good for?

Despite all the thirst tweets from adults, the board game is appropriate for ages six and up.

Who is the killer in the movie Clue?

Clue famously contained multiple endings, with different versions screening at different theaters so that the reveal couldn't be spoiled by early theatergoers, as you never knew which version you were going to see.

Is Clue the movie inappropriate?

Clue is rated PG.
