That's right, Delta Airlines has gone with the censored version of Carol that not only doesn't include the sex scene but doesn't include any kissing at all. Delta has explained that there are two versions of the highly acclaimed film starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara as lovers in the 1950s and that it chose the edited version that removed scenes that "do not meet" its guidelines. That's right folks, get out your notebooks and add "lesbians kissing" to the list of things that don't meet Delta's guidelines, because you bet your bottom dollar heterosexuals kissing stays in films that edit out sex scenes with nudity (note: I haven't done actual research on that, but I am truly betting my bottom dollar). So, in honor of Delta's apparently wildly specific guidelines, we're going to go ahead and assume these seven films and TV shows Delta currently features are getting that specific censorship treatment as well. Let Carol kiss!
