Reality series personality Tila Tequila was rushed to the hospital on Feb. 29, for a brain aneurysm that was discovered after her roommate called 911 claiming she'd attempted suicide by overdosing on pills, according to E! News.
The bisexual star of A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila was released from the hospital on Monday and is recovering at home, her manager Gina Rodriguez told The Daily News.
“Tila continues to recover and is doing better,” Rodriguez told The Daily News. “We ask that her privacy is respected during this difficult time.”
Tila’s roommate reportedly found her slipping “in and out of consciousness” and called 911, according to E! News. The aneurysm was discovered after Tila went into medical care. Allegations of a suicide attempt have not been substantiated.
Tila became a reality star on MTV’s A Shot at Love, a The Bachelor type reality dating series in which Tila whittled down a significant other from a pool of both men and women. In 2010 Tila spoke to the press about her engagement to Johnson & Johnson hieress Casey Johnson, who died from a diabetes-related disease.
