WATCH: 'The L Word's' Erin Daniels for #Mamming and Breast Cancer Awareness

Mammograms:  they may be awkward and uncomfortable, but they can save your life, and Erin Daniels is teaming up with a couple of funny ladies to tell women just that.  Daniels is best known for her portrayal of Dana Fairbanks, who (in)famously lost her battle with breast cancer in Season 3 of The L Word.

Daniels recently starred in a video supporting the #Mamming cause, a social media initiative to encourage women to take the steps towards early breast cancer detection.  In the clip, Daniels “mams” everywhere from a coffee table to a taxi cab.  What is #Mamming, you ask?  You’ll just have to click here and see for yourself.  

The #Mamming social media declaration was developed by two young ad agency creatives, Michelle Lamont and Michelle Jaret, to increase awareness for breast cancer month in order to encourage action with early detection.  Lamont is a breast cancer survivor at only 25 years old.
