Former Prison Guard Pleads Guilty to Killing Her Ex-Girlfriend

A former New York jail guard pleaded guilty Wednesday to murder and other charges in connection with the death of her uncle and ex-girlfriend. Williams, who was shot several times in the chest, was found dead outside the hospital shortly thereafter.

In June of 2010, Kim Wolfe, a 19-year veteran of the Nassau County Corrections Department, was off duty when she met Stacie Williams, a hospital employee she once dated, near the main entrance of the Nassau University Medical Center. Williams, who was shot several times in the chest, was found dead outside the hospital shortly thereafter.

The judge said that Wolfe — who entered a guilty plea to two counts of murder, one count of kidnapping, plus weapons and assault charges — will be sentenced to 22 years to life in prison November 2.
