Caity Lotz Back For More Action As White Canary In 'Legends of Tomorrow'

We've been hearing a lot about the CW's new DC Comics spin-off show, Legends of Tomorrow. From the same creative teams that brought us Arrow and The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow borrows characters from both shows, and introduces us to some new ones. But the big news came when a familiar face who (spoiler alert!) died on this season of Arrow came back for more action! Actress Caity Lotz (who played Sara Lance aka Black Canary aka ex-lover of Nyssa al Ghul aka the first bisexual superhero on TV) was mysteriously listed as a lead member of the Legends of Tomorrow cast.

Now, thanks to an official announcement from the network, we know she'll be back as the White Canary! The details of her return are still a mystery, but while we wait until midseason for Legends of Tomorrow to premiere, let's take a look at the five reasons Sara Lance is our favorite bisexual bad-ass.

1. She can hold her own alongside her male teammates
Sara Lance kicks more ass than Diggle ever will (sorry about it). And those abs?!

2. She proves blondes just want to have fun
Just a little crimefighting in skintight black leather with my bo-staff on a Friday night.

3. She dates highly trained assassins
From hard bodied Oliver Queen, to femme fatale Nyssa al Ghul, Sara rocks all sides of the Kinsey scale. But it was her relationship with the Daughter of the Demon that had us all hot and bothered!

4. When she dies, she'll break your heart
Like we said, we have no idea how she comes back, we're just glad she does. Because we were pretty distraught when she left us last time.

5. She knows what she wants
From stopping global destruction and dropping dudes to faking her own death and dating beautiful assassins, Sara Lance/Black Canary just DGAF.

So there you have it. Are you excited to see White Canary back on screen, saving the world and stealing hearts?
