Tegan and Sara fans, you must have been very good this year, because the indie twins are gracing us with a new full-length CD/DVD set, Get Along, that includes a live record and collection of 3 films that reveal the real Tegan and Sara.
To kick of the Get Along promotions, the sister songwriters are hosting a LIVE Twitter Q&A session with fans at at 3PM PST. Tweet your questions @teganandsara starting at 3pm PST October 19, and Tegan, the tech expert of the two, will be responding in real time.
TeganandSara.com is taking pre-orders now for the Get Along set that boasts a live record and collection of 3 films that give a rare and intimate look into the lives of Tegan and Sara Quinn, two widely celebrated songwriters, performers, lesbian musicians, and equality activists.
The first film, States, offers a 30-minute slice of Tegan and Sara’s American tour and interviews with the Quinn sisters about the birth of their fanbase.
India chronicles their first ever tour of India in a documentary style, including interviews with the band, and their friends and family, about their reflections on the road life.
Finally, rounding out the trio is For The Most Part, special hour-plus long, stripped acoustic concert filmed live in an intimate Vancouver studio.
Tegan and Sara also released new promotional photos, shot by friend and photographer Lindsay Byrnes. The twins are looking better than ever as they climb to the next level in their stellar music career.
