WATCH: Amanda Palmer's Brilliant Musical Response to Slut-Shaming 'Daily Mail' Coverage Involves Waltzing and Stripping Down

Independent musician, fierce feminist, and out bisexual Amanda Palmer is known for her outspoken, performance-artist antics, and has never been shy about showing off her body in all its human glory. She's filmed more than a few music videos where she strips down and bares all to make a statement about the commodification of women's sexuality and the media's perpetual obsession with policing female bodies.

But apparently British tabloid The Daily Mail didn't get the memo. When the paper covered Palmer's performance at Glastonbury last year, the writer entirely avoided discussing Palmer's performance or music, instead focusing on the moment when Palmer's nipple slipped out of her bra during a particularly energetic song. The Daily Mail oh-so-cleverly titled its coverage "Making a boob of herself! Amanda Palmer's breast escapes her bra as she preforms onstage at Glastonbury."

Performing at the Roundhouse in London on Friday, Palmer fired her return salvo, striking down the Mail's misogyny with a poignant, hilarious waltz titled "Dear Daily Mail." It's a snarky send-up that Palmer completed by ridding herself of her kimono, revealing her naked, badass self.

Watch the entire (NSFW) performance below, and keep an eye out for some of our favorite lines, including:

"If you'd Googled my tits in advance / You'd have found that your photos are hardly exclusive," and "Dear Daily Mail /  It’s so sad what you tabloids are doing / Your focus on debasing womens’ appearances / Devolves our species of humans /  But a rag is a rag, and far be it from me / To go censoring anyone — oh no / It appears that my entire body is currently / Trying to escape this kimono!"
