Gary McCullough, of Christian Newswire, blames Ellen DeGeneres for American Idol’s sagging ratings this season, according to Zap2It.
His theory….the ratings drop is because Ellen is a lesbian.
McCullough wrote on his blog, "I am confident that the producers of American Idol will be shocked when their market share has cratered, and will in all honesty find a dozen other reasons for the drop in ratings. After all, what successful television producer could have a clue what wholesomeness is as long as they see promoting homosexuality as a virtue."
He even goes so far as to equate Ellen being on Idol to a scenario where Dancing with the Stars could hire a member of the pro-pedophilia group NAMBLA. McCullough wrote, "Perhaps next we will see the pro-pedophilia group NAMBLA use its influence in Hollywood to have Dancing with the Stars seat Roman Polanski as a judge."
I wonder if McCullough did any research before writing his post? If he had, he would have seen that Ellen’s talk show ratings are through the roof. If he had, he would have quickly realized that the only person who has a problem with Ellen is just him.
