While one of the biggest surprises of the overall snooze-fest that was the Academy Awards 2011 was when winning sound mixer for Inception, Lora Hirschberg, kissed her tuxedo-clad wife on the mouth before heading to the stage to collect her gold statue, there was this moment –pictured below-- between two Best Actress winners Sandra Bullock and Halle Berry.

There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw any of our pseudo-feminist caution to the wind and to just post our fave shot of the day, whether it be sexy, salacious, or just because...

What is it with Halle being man – or in this case Sandra Bullock – handled at the Oscars?

And while it’s fun to pretend that these two recently single ladies have switched teams and are finding solace in spending their Saturday nights together on Halle’s leather sofa, feeding each other popcorn during back-to-back screenings of Hope Floats and Catwoman, we know it’s just a friendly smooch between two lesbians, I mean thespians.
