As True Blood fans, or “Truebies”, excitement for season four (premiering June 26 at 9 PM) reaches a fever pitch, sultry series star Rutina Wesley shows off her softer sexy side in Esquire.
Wesley reveals she originally dreamed of becoming a ballerina to follow in the footsteps of her parents, a tap dancer and a showgirl, but abandoned dancer plans when she came to terms with her own flat feet.
The Las Vegas native decided to give acting a shot instead. "My father was like, 'I support you in whatever you do. Just don't forget about your feet.'"
She seems to have wonderfully toned and ample curves everywhere else!
She studied at Julliard, performed on Broadway, and starred in the indie film How She Move before being cast as Sookie Stackhouse’s (Anna Paquin) best friend on the hit HBO series.
