Get off Tinder. Get off Grindr. Get offline all together. We know where you’re going to find your next man: a coffee shop. I’ve learned one thing spending the majority of my time in various independent coffee shops in Cambridge. They are the ideal place to meet a great guy.

Here’s why:

1. It’s completely normal and suited to strike up conversation in a coffee shop

Coffee shops have long, shared (Harry Potter-like) tables you can sit at with others, making it simple to strike up conversation.

2. Guys who go to coffee shops are impeccably dressed

Scarves and sweaters for days.

3. Guys who frequent coffee shops have a solid work ethic

When he’s working at a coffee shop, he means business. He’s there to get shit done.

4. He appreciates the finer things

Coffee, an overpriced pastry, ambient music, etc.

5. You know you have at least one thing in common

You like coffee. He likes coffee. What more do you need?

6. He probably has a beard 

And you definitely want to date a man with a beard.

7. Odds are he lives nearby 

If he’s working at that coffee shop (and he frequents it), he probably lives nearby. Same with you, making it easier to date.
