Kick Oppression in the Face With the World's First Gay Fighting Game
The '90s were wonderful for many reasons, but the boom in arcade and fighting games was among the most important. Michael Patrick and Melchor Cardenas decided to bring this nostalgic gaming experience back to gamers everywhere — but with a queer twist, and thus Gay Fighter Supreme was born!
According to the game creators, it's "intended to be irreverent, satirical, fun-spirited and ironic." And with characters like Carrie Cupcake the drag queen, GoGo Gary, Timmy Spears the twink and Sappho Ethridge the lesbian, it definitely sounds like it's all of those things.
Gay Fighter Supreme is available on iTunes and Google Play. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
